IP Relay, provided by T-Mobile for iOS devices, is an internet-based telecommunications mobile app that caters to individuals who are Deaf, Hard of Hearing, DeafBlind, or have a Speech Disability. It enables users to make and receive relay calls and communicate using text on iOS 9 or higher, including iPad devices. The IP Relay app is also accessible on wireless networks.

One of the notable features of IP Relay is the ability to connect with a qualified relay operator. The app offers an integrated contact list, call history, and access to live customer care for added convenience.

It is important to note that IP Relay is only available in the USA and US territories. International calls may be blocked or terminated. While IP Relay can be used for emergency calling, it should be understood that emergency calls made through the app may not function the same as traditional 911/E911 services. By utilizing IP Relay for emergency calling, users acknowledge that T-Mobile does not take responsibility for any damages resulting from errors, defects, malfunctions, interruptions, or failures in accessing or attempting to access emergency services through IP Relay, regardless of whether such damages are caused by the negligence of T-Mobile or otherwise.
